  • how did hoyland start?

    (Its an old family name, ask us for the scandalous backstory!)

    CITY

    Financial recruitment in the 90s was hard-core and this is where Hannah's work ethic was formed. She studied English Literature (ironically in Wales), and then lived and worked in London. Clients included CIBC, Scotiabank, Barclays and LSE.

    ADVENTURE

    At the end of 1998 Hannah packed her bags and set off around the world. She still believes travel is important: "I love experiencing other cultures and landscapes, the energy and variety feed my inquisitive and creative nature".

    PROPERTY

    When she returned from her travels, Hannah worked in marketing and then property. In 2001, she was asked to build and run a lettings business for Hampshire's leading property company, which she did: it was profitable within the first year of trading.

    LEGAL

    In 2014 Hannah joined the leading legal conveyancing services firm in the UK. She started as a territory sales manager, was promoted to key account manager, strategic business developer, supplier manager then product sales and marketing.

    LAUNCH

    Hoyland Marketing was created, like so many good ideas, after redundancy. Hannah saw a gap in the market to help businesses make sense of their marketing; cutting costs and increasing profit by creating plans and structure for development.
